SURFIVOR SCHOOL
Intermediate Course Level: one week course experience, controlled take-off in white water, basic theoretical knowledge.
This course adds up immediately to the beginner course and is designed to improve basic skills. The main goals of the intermediate course are:
- take off on green waves and ride them on a hard board
- riding waves sideways along the face of the wave
- learn basic maneuvers like cut-backs and floaters
- increase the number of waves you catch, by positioning yourself correctly.
- finding the best spot to paddle out Theory goes further into the influence of tides, wind and weather conditions and introduces you to the history of surfing and surfboard shaping. We will also work with video analysis in this course. Your surf coach will assist you directly in the water, giving special importance to explain you how to read the waves and ocean better. If necessary, we can reach the most suitable spot in our surf shuttles. The course starts on Monday and finishes on Friday and includes 2 sessions of approx. 2hrs / day (there are no courses on weekends). The equipment is available during and after class and on weekends.
Intermediate Package includes:
- 7 night accommodation (week-end to week-end)
- Daily breakfast
- 15 hours of lessons (practice + theory, Monday to Friday)

- Surf boards, wetsuits (full-suits), during lessons + weekend (after course)
- Free usage of body boards, skateboards and surf movies
